Ledatec are long established manufacturers of technical needlepunch fabrics for supply to many applications in the rapidly growing Nonwoven Industry. These applications include pipeline renovation, geotextile & composites (for use in lining membranes in landfill sites, lagoons, storage tanks, reservoirs, roofing systems and ponds etc.), footwear, filtration, horticulture and equestrian to name a few ! Raw materials used in the manufacturing process are mainly synthetic fibres such as polyester, polypropylene, nylon, viscose and acrylic. Other fibres include recycled and natural fibres (wool, jute). Finished
felt products range in weight from 80gsm to 1500 gsm per square metre and in
roll widths from 76mm to 6700mm. A latex, thermally bonded or calendered
finish can be applied to the felt up to a finished width of 3300mm. As
most of our products have to conform to rigorous specifications, extensive
in-house testing is performed in our various laboratories to ensure our products
both meet all our customers requirements and adhere to the globally acknowledged
quality standard ISO9002
